A technical issue prevented musician KiDi from performing on stage during the University of Cape Coast's (UCC) SRC week events, and he has apologized to his fans for the inconvenience.
The "Touch It" singer wrote on Instagram that although he had hoped to amuse students at the event, a broken system prevented him from doing so.
Sorry UCC, I waited for 3 hours for the issue to be fixed. I really wanted to put on a show for you guys, but I couldn't because the sound system was dysfunction. I appreciate your continued affection, KiDi wrote.
After leaving the stage at the UCC SRC Week celebrations at the Casford Field, KiDi became a social media craze.
The singer's performance was scheduled for Saturday night. The microphone was malfunction as soon as he got on stage, in front of excited students who were anticipating his presentation.
KiDi tested the microphone numerous times in a viral video posted to Twitter, but the feedback and sound echoes were awful, making it hard for the artist to perform.
After a while, he walked off the stage unperformed. Social media users criticized the school for such a poor performance.
