However, Madam Kyeraa declined his offer, which caused her early demise.
Esther Sumia, a witness and Mary's close friend, informed Adom News that Kwame ambushed his ex-wife and shot her.
Following their divorce, Mary moved to Kutre No. 2 with her children, where she lived. On Friday morning, as Mary was leaving the Berekum Holy Family, where her daughter was receiving treatment, she was assassinated.
Following the horrible crime, Kwame fled, but was later discovered dead hanging in a bush.
Some locals, who are in a state of shock and amazement, claim that they never thought Kwame could do such a crime given his placid demeanor.
Kwame's actions are frowned upon in a typical traditional society, and it is thought that if they are ignored, misfortune may befall the neighborhood.
Therefore, Osaberima Kwaku Baah Brenty II, the chief of Kotaa, where Kwame lived, has disclosed that traditional leaders will appease the gods as quickly as possible to prevent any disaster.
He advised them to offer sacrifices to the local gods, including sheep, chickens, and libations, in order to prevent more serious events.
