Following the alleged murder of a man in his late 20s in the area, residents of Guntingli, a neighborhood of Yendi in the Northern Region, are now living in fear.
On Tuesday morning, the residents of Guntingli discovered a dead body lying in the middle of a deserted road.

Residents assume the deceased man who was beaten up was a victim of a robbery because they claim he is not one of their neighbors.
According to information received, the man was robbed of his motorcycle and his cell phones before having his body dumped nearby.
According to some residents who contacted with Adom News, the absence of street lights may have caused the incident to occur at night.

Therefore, they are requesting that the Yendi Municipal officials deal with the lighting issue.
While investigations are ongoing, the police have visited the area and taken the body to the mortuary of the Yendi Municipal Government Hospital.
This is the second similar killing that has been reported in the region.
