Residents of Tampaala, a Jirapa suburb in the Upper West Region, have been placed in a state of mourning following the deaths of three members of his family, including his mother, by a 20-year-old man.
Last Sunday, the suspect, Anthony Yendor, allegedly lost control and attacked three female family members.

According to the article, the three ladies were his sisters, Cynthia Dabuo, 45, and Rebecca Yendor, 22, as well as his mother, Bozomo Yendor, 60.
Fortunately, the eighth-month-old son of Cynthia who was the fourth victim who was restrained behind her mother during the vicious assault and survived.
He had been critically injured and was being treated at Jirapa Saint Joseph Hospital.
According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Reynolds Manteaw, the Wa Regional Crime Officer, the crime was confirmed about 8:00 pm on Sunday when Anthony Yendor, an unlicensed gold miner, entered the mother's kitchen with a pestle and began hitting the victims without warning.

However, after hearing about the alleged attack, a group of supporters went to the area and overcame him before turning him over to the police, according to ACP Manteaw.
The criminal officer stated that they were looking into the event and will be charged soon.
