Due to the government's massive debt to the West African Examination Council, parents and students who will be the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in 2022 may be dissatisfied or disqualified (WAEC).
The Minority has made hints that the debt has significantly impacted WAEC's activities through its Ranking Member, Dr. Clement Apaak.
The government owes WAEC GHS21 million, which the minority is urging it to pay as quickly as feasible.
WAEC would require GHS 96 million to be able to organize the 2022 exams, according to Dr. Apaak, the Builsa South Member of Parliament (MP).
