In Zebilla Bawku West, Upper East Region
One person was killed and three others were injured in an accident involving a military truck at the Custom Barrier in the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region.

Along the way from Bolga to Bawku, the vehicle slammed into shops and containers.
The vehicle hit a pothole, witnesses told Adom News, forcing the driver to lose control and go off the road.
A motorcyclist traveling in front of the military truck was struck from behind, instantly killing him. Three military personnel were hurt as a result of the incident.
After the truck slammed into their businesses and came to a grinding halt, some sellers rushed for safety.
Motorcycles parked on the side of the road were also damaged.
The event resulted in a large traffic jam, however the Zebilla District Police Command, NADMO, and soldiers were on the spot to help.
meanwhile, residents of zebilla are pleading with the contractor working on the bolga-pulmakom road, quiroz galvao, to fix speed ramps in the township promptly to avoid further accidents.
