The reasons behind the most recent fighting between the Kusasi and Manprusi tribes at Bawku in the Upper East Region
Recent disputes between the two tribes occurred at Bawku.
The Kusasi at Bawku in the Upper East Region claimed that although at first they believed the struggle to be for the chieftency, it is now about properties.
But according to the Kusasi, whenever they engage in combat, Manprusi break into homes and scavenge for goods.
They went on to remark that the Mamprusi are currently fighting over anger rather than chieftency once more.
When you walk into the Manprusi houses, their rooms now contained their possessions like cattle.
They were shocked to see animals sleeping in their bedroom because they had assumed that animals slept outside.
They should also endeavor to maintain their stuff well in case of anything.
