He was born in the hamlet of Douskoum in the Tempane District of Ghana's Upper East Region forty years ago.
He is an IT professional with extensive experience in programming and application support.

He is a firm believer in education and the empowerment of underserved people.

TEMPANE LA PRIMARY SCHOOL, TEMPANE MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND TEMPANE JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL were his schools. He also went to Nalerigu Continuation Middle School and Nalerigu High School.
In the 1980s and early 1990s, He attended secondary school as well.
He is a proud Tamale Secondary School graduate (Tamasco).

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management Information Systems is offered by Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) in India (MIS).
He earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of British Columbia (Combined Major).

He also holds a certificate in Pan-European Executive Project Management.
His designation is Certified IT Service Management Expert from the African Institute for Leadership and Governance Studies in Accra, Ghana.
He is a Senior Public Servant and Application Support Manager for the Department of Defense, one of the country's most well-known government departments.

With two children and a loving wife, he is a family man.
