Bolgatanga, In the Upper East Region, High Court, Handed over by His Lordship Charles Adjei Wilson, the Regional Supervising High Court Judge, condemned a man claiming to be a traditional spiritualist to life in prison for murder today, June 01, 2022.
Mbawona Tindana, a 35-year-old traditional spiritualist from Kulpelga in the Upper East Region's Talensi District, is accused of killing his 25-year-old wife, Talata Abigail Kurug, and his two-year-old daughter, Nyapoka Mbawona Tindana, as a sacrifice to his Idol in 2019.
Mr. Tindana, a self-proclaimed spiritualist, was charged with two counts of murder, in violation of sections of the Criminal Offences Act of 1960, Act 29, for willfully and unlawfully harming and killing his wife, Talata Abigail Kurug, and his daughter, Nyapoka Mbawona Tindana.

Based on these charges against Mr. Tindana, the Regional Supervising High Court Judge sentenced Mbawona Tindana to life in prison in a court presided over by His Lordship Charles Adjei Wilson.
