According to a 3news report, Students at the school staged a protest early Monday morning to express their discontent with the lack of speed ramps, which has resulted in multiple accidents in and around the school.
The police were claimed to have met the protesting students and fired rounds to disperse the crowd.
According to the report 20 students were unconscious and the injury students been rush with an ambulance to the hospital for treatment.
While the police presence at the school has increased.
Some parents are trooping into the school following the incident.
Following the incident, some parents have flocked to the school.
"I heard there was a fight in the school, and the cops opened fire on the students, shooting and beating them." I heard the cops chasing them down and bashing the girls in their dorm rooms. I feel terrible seeing schoolchildren pass out on the floor. "Everyone is messed up here," a father expressed their displeasure.
