A WOMAN AND HER BOYFRIEND HAVE BEEN ARRESTED FOR THE KILLING OF HER HUSBAND.

 New Delhi: Police have detained a 32-year-old lady and her boyfriend for allegedly killing her husband.

Swarnali Ghosh, the accused, worked as a medical service provider for many hospitals. She fell in love with a colleague, Mohan Pal, while working at a south Delhi hospital (35). She began meeting with him after work. She claimed to work night shifts and spent time at Pal's place at times.

Ghosh's frequent absences from home, on the other hand, made her husband, Arjun, a transporter by trade, suspicious, and the pair began bickering over minor matters.

 

The pair had an argument on May 12th, during which Arjun allegedly thrashed Ghosh. In a fit of wrath, she summoned her lover, and the two of them murdered Arjun while he slept. According to investigators, Pal attacked Arjun with a knife while Ghosh caught him by the legs. 

After that, Pal and Ghosh departed the house.

Arjun was discovered unconscious in his bed on May 13 with a stab wound to the neck. Ghosh said she was unaware of the incident because she was at work at the time. 

During the investigation, authorities examined CCTV footage and discovered Pal leaving the location. The deceased and his wife's dump data and call detail records were collected and analyzed.

During her police questioning, Ghosh gave contradictory answers about her locations and activities, making her a suspect. She finally cried out and admitted to the crime.

Following that, a police team tracked down Pal, who was in a hurry to leave Delhi and return to his hometown of Siliguri (West Bengal). He was apprehended at a mall in Saket, however. Pal threw the knife down a drain, and the cops have yet to find it. Their blood-stained garments, on the other hand, were found in the same drain.
