Families Affected by the Bawku dispute will receive Ghc314k in aid from Bawku Central MP.

Mahama Ayariga, the Bawku Central MP, has pledged over 300,000 Ghana cedis from his portion of the District Assembly's Common Fund (DACF) to assist those who have been harmed by the Bawku crisis.

The funds are planned to be utilized to purchase construction supplies, food, and to provide for pupils. A committee will be formed to distribute the Fund.

This was stated in a letter signed by Mahama Ayariga, the Member of Parliament, and copied to A1 News.

THREE HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN THOUSAND GHANA CEDIS (GHC314,000,00) CONFLICT RELIEF FOR BAWKU CENTRAL CONSTITUENCY 

In the Bawku Municipality, the violent conflict that began last year has caused immeasurable hardship.

This is to instruct the Assembly to use my part of the common fund of GHC314.000,00 to provide relief to those in the municipality affected by the conflict.

The Assembly is directed to obtain 500 Maxi bags of corn and 100 roofing sheet packs.

The immediate family members of those who have died in the fight should be given some financial assistance.
