On Friday, the lifeless body of a woman in her 20s was discovered in Ola, a Cape Coast suburb.
According to information acquired thus far by Thomas Cann, TV3's Central Regional correspondent, a passerby discovered the victim near the Ola Catholic Church with her genital mutilated.
The body has been transported to the mortuary by police.
Residents believe the lady was murdered for ceremonial purposes by unknown individuals.
The matter is being investigated, according to the police.
